PADI Advanced Open Water Course
Wondering what’s the next step after your Open Water Course? Want to develop your diving skills but within the safety and structure of a PADI Program? This course is designed for anyone with a PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent, [you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving!] Helping you to build confidence and expand your scuba skills, this course takes just 2 days and consists of 5 Adventure Dives! After certification you will be qualified to dive up to 30metres [21metres for 12-15year olds] anywhere in the world with a buddy!
With two core Adventure dives, ‘Deep’ and ‘Navigation’: you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper diving as well as refining your compass navigation skills and helping you to better navigate using natural references, time and kick cycles. The remaining three adventure dives usually consist of Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Fish ID to give you the most varied and interesting of dive environments and skill sets to become the diver you want to be!
[Junior] Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enrol in our Advanced Open Water Diver course. Check with your school if you may be able to get college credit for the Advanced Open Water Course for more reasons to come dive with us!
